DSB Byen (The DSB Village) is a photographic homage to the repair and maintenance facilities of the Danish National Train Service located in southwestern Copenhagen. Built in 1909, the Village assumed a vital role in supporting Denmark’s economic growth during the 20th century, but has since been a sleepy industrial oasis where the workers of times past have been replaced by unwelcome visitors who sneak through the fences when no one is looking.
An exhibition with starting point in the book was exhibited as part of CAFx (Copenhagen Architecture Festival) in Copenhagen, March 2016. See more.
